Laura joined Isgenuity in 2015 and is an instrumental team member working on award-winning interior design projects as well as developing our corporate and office environments portfolio. She currently manages the interior standards for a number of institutional clients and has become a resource with her client-focused, knowledge-based approach. She was the interior designer of the award-winning Sports Performance Center for New England Baptist Hospital and is currently focused on developing a new paradigm for office environments at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Currently a member of the IIDA New England Chapters Emerging Leaders group, Laura is committed to being a key industry leader. Laura’s industry commitment and design recognition demonstrate a unique talent that we are honored to recognize at Isgenuity. We look forward to her continued success.
Jenn joined Isgenuity in 2012 and has differentiated herself as a multi-talented architect who is engaged in all aspects of our practice. Whether designing technically sophisticated renovations in both healthcare and academic settings, developing our internal documentation and modeling standards, or assisting senior leadership of our clients present to their institutions in virtual reality, she is consistently responsible for the success of the pursuit. In recent years she has become an MRI specialist with seven different MRI’s under her guidance. Jenn is currently managing projects in both healthcare and research sectors for Boston Children’s Hospital and BIDMC, and is concurrently engaged in our more significant academic work. Jenn’s promotion to Senior Associate is recognition that she is a uniquely skilled architect who represents the next generation of industry professionals.
Ai Kurokawa has joined the Isgenuity team as a Principal, adding a key leadership position to the firm. Ai brings nearly 20 years of experience on complex healthcare and life sciences projects for nationally acclaimed institutions. She is recognized as a forward-thinking design professional with a people-focused process that elevates client and stakeholder experiences.
Ai’s sensitivity for design, combined with her enthusiastic outlook adds a vibrant engaged voice to the Isgenuity leadership group. Her contribution will have a fundamental influence on the future of our work and culture at Isgenuity and we are genuinely excited to have her join our team.

The new EBNHC Neighborhood PACE center is well under construction with steel erection wrapping up this week. We are very excited to see the ongoing work, especially from the perspective of our new drone. Patients and participants of the program will have a beautiful view of the Rumney Marsh in Revere later this year. Check out the brief video and keep an eye out for future videos!
Isgenuity was honored to attend the groundbreaking of East Boston Neighborhood Health Center’s new Neighborhood PACE project in Revere this morning. This new out-of-the-ground structure will provide all-inclusive care for aging residents of Revere and surrounding communities. As designers of the project, we are always excited to see our work being built and look forward to its completion next summer.

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer to Associate. Jennifer joined Isgenuity in 2012, and since then she has been involved in multiple projects at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Children’s Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear. Her attention to detail and focus on the project process has demonstrated a unique ability to anticipate and proactively realize project goals both large and small. In the office, Jennifer leads a number of initiatives including the development of our virtual reality system which allows our clients to interact with a virtual experience of our projects. We look forward to Jennifer’s growing influence at Isgenuity as well as in the design industry as her career develops.
