Jinbong An, LEED AP joins Isgenuity as Associate. Jinbong has over 15 years of experience in healthcare architecture, planning and design. He is a broadly experienced project manager with proven skills in all phases of design, planning, and construction of healthcare, labs, and technically challenging programs for new construction, additions, and renovations. Jinbong is a graduate of the Boston Architectural College and Dong-A University in Busan, South Korea.

He is a seasoned manager and a champion of design both in the workplace and as an instructor at the Boston Architectural College.

Yoochul Roe, Assoc. AIA, LEED joins Isgenuity as Senior Associate. Yoochul brings over 15 years of architectural experience focused on healthcare, higher education, laboratories, and corporate projects. He has been involved with projects through the planning, studies, and conceptual design phases as well as project management, CD’s and construction both in the US and overseas. Yoochul is a graduate of Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea, and the University of Michigan.

Theresa Harris AIA, NCARB, EDAC, LEED AP BD+C joins Isgenuity as Principal and Director of Healthcare Planning. Theresa brings 23 years of experience in planning, programming and design of a wealth of large health care facilities. Her broad portfolio of work includes both new construction and renovations for ambulatory clinics, inpatient units, surgical and Hybrid ORs, cancer centers and pharmacies. Theresa serves as a trusted leader in the profession, as a member of the AIA/AAH FGI subcommittee as well as other professional committees and publications.

Meet Isgenuity's New Principal: Jason Nicastro, AIA

Jason Nicastro joined Isgenuity in 2009, and over the past 10 years has demonstrated a unique ability to create meaningful spaces and places while at the same time developing valued client relationships. Jason’s unwavering commitment to realizing his clients’ vision combined with his natural ability to produce quality design work has seen his portfolio of work win design awards and industry recognition. He has been instrumental in realizing some of Isgenuity’s most high-profile work for acclaimed institutions and organizations.

Jason’s enthusiasm for mentoring and his natural leadership have played an important role in developing a culture at Isgenuity that fosters learning and engagement throughout the firm. He has spearheaded multiple initiatives that have developed the firms structure in alignment with our mission.

Meet Isgenuity's New Associate Principal: Kate Spinelli, IIDA

Kate Spinelli joined Isgenuity in 2006, and over the past 12 years has become a core member of the Isgenuity leadership team as our Director of Interior Design. This promotion to Associate Principal reflects Kate’s contribution to Isgenuity’s growth and development as a next generation design firm. Kate’s ability to create a clear design direction that realizes our clients’ visions and design aspirations is a hallmark of her work and has led to some of our most successful interior environments.

As a multi-talented individual, Kate’s contribution goes beyond design; she is an enlightened contributor engaged in all major office initiatives. Currently managing our Interior Standards and Corporate Interiors initiatives, Kate is responsible for the design direction and development of corporate space for significant academic and medical campuses.

Meet Isgenuity's New Associate: Crystal Hong


Crystal joined Isgenuity in 2015 and has become a coveted team member for some of our most sophisticated clients. Her client focused-approach, attention to detail and ability to follow through seamlessly on all aspects of her work exemplifies a talent that inspires and impresses. She was an integral team member for the award-winning Sports Performance Center for New England Baptist Hospital, responsible for detailed design execution, project documents and construction administration. Her work at Massachusetts General Hospital has allowed her to assume direct client/project responsibilities based on the professional trust that she has established with the entire team. Crystal’s commitment to improvement has her involved in office initiatives within Isgenuity as well as being a resource for junior staff and their development. In acknowledging Crystal’s role and influence at Isgenuity, we look forward to her continued career success.

Meet Isgenuity's New Associate: Lauren Festa


Lauren joined Isgenuity in 2015 and has been focused on patient-centered environments as well as technically sophisticated healthcare and research projects. Her range of experiences and her ability to be a key team member forging strong team and client relationships reflects her diligent and earnest approach to her projects. Her work at the Women’s Imaging Center for Cooley Dickinson Hospital demonstrated her ability to balance the complexities of healthcare design, creating a specialized diagnostic center that embraces patients with a warm and empathetic care environment. Her ability to grasp highly technical spaces has been a transferable skill as she additionally works on a number of technical research projects for a range of life science clients. We are delighted to be able to recognize Lauren’s contribution and keenly anticipate her future career achievements.
